Returning Goods

If for any reason clients are not satisfied with an order, the item(s) can be returned for size exchange, store credit or refund within 10 days of the merchandise's delivery date.

Instructions for returning goods

  • All returns must be pre-authorized. The customer must send a request to return the package by e-mail to shop@cogni.it within 14 days of receipt of the shipment. The e-mail must specify the article codes which will be returned, and the type of compensation requested :  size change, purchase voucher for the value of the returned goods, or full cash reimbursement. Cogni.it will reply to the e-mail request with a written authorization for the return of the goods.
  • The goods must arrive in the Cogni.it warehouses within 10 days of the returning authorization and must be accompanied by the letter authorizing the return and specifying the type of compensation requested.
  • Goods are returned at the expense of the customer, using the courier service of their choice.
  • Customers may choose from three compensation options : size change, purchase voucher, or cash reimbursement.
  • Returned goods must arrive in the Cogni.it warehouses within 10 days of the authorization to return the package.

Clients can choose between three compensation options:

  • Size change
    It is possible to change the size of the same article, if available, and on only one occasion per purchase. It is not permitted to change the article for another one.
     
  • Purchase Voucher
     
    This can be used on one occasion and for its entire value, within 6 months from the date of emission. Purchase vouchers cannot be accumulated. Each purchase voucher must be used entirely in one shot for a purchase of equal or superior value.
     
  • Refund
    Refunds will be processed as soon as returned items have been checked and accepted.
    For orders paid by paypal / credit card, the refunded amount will be available to customers in roughly 10 days with Bank Transfer. Processing time may vary depending on the credit card company.
    Orders paid by bank transfer will be refunded directly to their bank account to be communicated with IBAN reference number by e-mail to .
    Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Any differences in the amount refunded are due to exchange rate fluctuations and will not be reimbursed.

Terms and Conditions for returned goods

  • The articles returned to Cogni.it must be in pristine condition and show no signs of use. In particular the soles of shoes must be in perfect condition without any marks.
  • Every article returned must have labels, packaging and original accessories (shoe bags etc) in original condition as they were shipped.
  • All shoes and accessories must be returned in their original box, which is to be considered an integral part of the product, and must be in no way damaged or used as the external packaging for the return by courier.
  • In the eventuality of a customer receiving a damaged package or faulty goods, or should there be an error committed by Cogni.it at the moment of shipping, the customer is requested to follow all the instructions specified above. Cogni.it reserves the right to request photographic evidence of the problems which occurred before authorizing the return of the defective merchandise to their warehouse.
  • Cogni.it reserves the right to refuse unauthorized returns.
  • Cogni.it will not accept returned merchandise if all the terms and conditions of their returns policy are not strictly adhered to by the customer. In case of non-compliance, the merchandise will be returned again to the customer to their original delivery address.
